Declaration of Convictions
All unspent convictions must be declared. If you have spent convictions that meet the criteria of "protected" and have the possibility of being removed from the certificate: you will be offered (by Disclosure Scotland) the option of appealing to the courts for this to happen. Certain more serious “Spent" convictions will always remain declared on the certificate.
