Care and support are provided for people living with complex physical and mental needs within Florence House and Oakbridge by our highly skilled nursing team, as well as our dedicated care staff. Also, our staff are trained to support people aged between 18-65, living with complex physical and mental health conditions, such as Huntington’s Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, CVA and mental health illness.
We welcome you and / or your loved one to make enquiries about our home(s), so that we can then discuss your particular support needs with the home manager, who can advise if the home is an appropriate setting for you. Quite often, people under 65 years require to transfer to a care home due to complex needs, therefore we recommend that you discuss your specific needs with one of our home managers.
At Oakminster Healthcare, we enable service users to be as independent as possible by facilitating the use of a skills kitchen, which has been adapted for people who require to use a wheelchair. In addition, a fully operational utility area is available, this allows individuals to carry out their own personal laundry.
